Certificate of Incumbency

The Certificate of Incumbency is a document issued by the Registered Agent, and includes the following information:

  • Company Name
  • Incorporation/Formation Date
  • Registration Number
  • Authorized Capital (for corporations)
  • Directors/Managers Information
  • Officers Information
  • Shareholders/Members Information
  • Confirmation of the company's compliance with the payment of its government fees up to the present time

The Certificate of Incumbency is a necessary requirement for opening corporate bank accounts with most international banks. If the Certificate is apostilled, there is no need for further legalization by an embassy or consulate of the foreign country.
